PITTSBURGH - Jenni Gross was named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week for the second time this season after her 52 kill, .431 hitting percentage performance this week.
Gross tied a career-best .500 hitting percentage (19 kills, 2 errors, 34 attempts) and added a pair of service aces and three solo blocks in DU's 3-2 victory at Saint Francis, Pa. Tuesday night. She added a team-high 19 kills and .375 hitting percentage at Temple Friday as well as a game-high 14 kills in DU's 3-0 shutout of La Salle Saturday as the Dukes went 2-1 overall.
This is Gross' second A-10 honor this season. She was named A-10 Co-Player of the week Sept. 10.
