The 2006-07 Duquesne men's basketball team will be featured as part of ESPN's "College GameDay Driven by State Farm" on Saturday, Jan. 6.
The show, which serves as the anchor for ESPN's college basketball coverage, features hosts Rece Davis, Jay Bilas and Digger Phelps with Dick Vitale and Andy Katz contributing features and reports.
This Saturday's show will air on ESPN2 live from LSU's Maravich Assembly Center floor between 11:00 and Noon (EST).
ESPN reporter Tom Rinaldi spent three days on the Duquesne campus in early December filming the spot scheduled to run at 11:28 a.m.
This is the earliest that ESPN's "College GameDay Driven by State Farm" has ever aired. The show usually starts in mid-January. This year ESPN is planning 10 College GameDays for basketball running weekly through the Big East Championship game on March 10.
