PITTSBURGH - Duquesne freshman setter Chelsea Tillotson (Adrian, Mich./Tecumsah) has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week. Tillotson has stepped into the starting setter's role for the injured Kristin Garnett and takes home her first weekly league citation.

Tillotson helped the Dukes to a 1-1 mark opening Conference play this past weekend against Temple and La Salle. She averaged 13.3 assists and 3.00 digs per game while posting a .444 hitting percentage. She had 31 assists, three aces and seven digs in a 3-0 loss to Temple Sept. 22 and recorded a match-best 49 assists and added 11 digs in Duquesne's 3-0 win over La Salle Sept. 24.

Duquesne returns to action this weekend hosting league members George Washington (Sept. 29) and Charlotte (Oct. 1) at the Palumbo Center.
