Duquesne University senior swimmers Eric Bugby and Melissa Johnson have been named Atlantic 10 Performers of the Week for the week ending Nov. 12.

Johnson set two school records at the Akron Quad. She captured first place in the 200-yard freestyle with a school record time of 1:53.46, nearly two seconds ahead of the nearest swimmer and finished third in the 200 IM with a school record time of 2:09.44. She also helped DU place second in the 200 free relay with a time of 3:36.43.

Bugby won three races in Saturday's meet versus Oakland and Clarion at Akron's Quad Meet. He had a Duquesne season-best time of 46.16 in the 100-yard freestyle, posted a DU season-best time in the 200 butterfly with a 1:55.12 and had a DU season-best time in the 100 butterfly with a 50.86. In addition, he helped the Dukes capture second place in the 400 medley relay.

The Red and Blue will travel to New Jersey on Friday, Nov. 17 for a 4:00 pm meet at St. Peter's.
