Women's Cross Country Takes Fifth at A-10s

The Duquesne women's cross country team finished fifth overall at the 2006 Atlantic 10 Cross Country Championships led by sophomore Emily Beahan's 18th place finish crossing in 18:46.50. The Dukes bettered their 2005 finish by one after placing sixth last year.

Freshman Sara Cimino was second for DU and 22nd overall with her time of 18:57.20 followed by junior Samantha Howard (31st, 19:20.70), junior Jenna Daggett (39th, 19:28.20), sophomore Kate Szymaszek (45th, 19:36.35), freshman Katie Kelly (52nd, 19:42.10) and freshman Kaitlynn Davis (68th, 20:04.20).

Next up are the NCAA Regionals Nov. 11 at Lock Haven, PA.
