The Duquesne University Men's Basketball program is accepting applications for DU students to become men's basketball student managers. Student managers are a very important part of any collegiate athletic program and that is particularly true of the men's basketball program here at Duquesne University.
Managers responsibilities during the year include, but are not limited to:
- Practice court set-up and clean up;
- Recording statistics; film exchange;
- Video recording practice and games;
- Maintaining the locker room for both practice and game days;
- ... and all other basketball related responsibilities as assigned by the DU coaching staff.
This experience will be extremely valuable for those individuals interested in gaining work experience and a recommendation toward future employment in the athletic industry. Individuals with basketball playing experience or a desire to get into coaching is preferred but not required.
