Duquesne finished 11th out of 35 team Friday afternoon at the Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh. Junior Amy Ruffolo paced the Dukes taking 55th in the field of 236 competitors with her time of 22:37in the 6K event. Sophomore Emily Beahan took 76th corssing in 22:31 followed by junior Samantha Howard (91st - 22:45), freshman Sara Cimino (94th - 22:47), freshman Katie Kelly (97th - 22:52), junior Kate Szymaszek (121st - 23:16) and senior Jenna Daggett (181st - 24:06).

The Dukes return to action Oct. 14 competing in the NCAA pre-nationals.
