"I thought we had some opportunities to put the ball in the end zone that we didn't take advantage of in the first half. When you play well and have opportunities and don't turn them into points, sometimes you struggle after that. Things happen in football games, and our kids know that. We were waiting for our offense to get on track. When we did in the fourth quarter, you have to give Columbia credit for coming back and answering with a score."

Duquesne quarterback Scott Knapp:

"Coming in we wanted to establish the run, and for the most part we were able to do that in the first half. We just didn't put points on the board. We didn't execute to the point we needed to to win. We have to play through this and get ready for our next game."
