Duquesne University freshman swimmer Katrina Streiner (Monroeville, PA/Gateway) has been named the Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week for the week ending Nov. 6

Streiner set a new school record in the 100-yard freestyle on Nov. 4 versus West Virginia, winning the event with a time of 52.63. Streiner also won gold in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.32 and helped the Dukes win the 200-yard medley relay with a time of 1:49.47.

The Red and Blue will travel to Akron on Saturday, Nov. 12 for a 1:00 pm meet with the Zips, Clarion and Kenyon.
