Results

Bronx, N.Y. - Sophomore Samantha Howard (Moon Township, Pa. / Moon) led Duquesne's women's cross country runners at the 2005 ECAC Championships held Saturday at Van Cortlandt Park in the Bronx N.Y. Howard's time of 18:26.6 was good for 12th place in the 88-runner race.

Sophomore Amy Ruffolo (Wexford, Pa. / North Allegheny) was 42nd at 19:03.9 and senior Elizabeth Graham (North Huntingdon, Pa. / Norwin) finished 51st with a mark of 19:16.3.

This was the final event on Duquesne's 2005 schedule which was highlighted by a second place finish at 35-team National Catholic Championship in September, sixth place at the 14-team A-10 Championships in October and 11th of 29 teams at the NCAA regionals earlier this month.
