The Dukes split the smallbore and air rifle portions of their match at Akron, but lost the aggregate total, 3809-3748. Duquesne set a new school team record in winning the smallbore competition, 2286-2277 but lost the air rifle portion, 1523-1471.

Sara Barker led the Red and Blue in smallbore with a score of 577, followed closely by Adam Bester's 576. Sarah Frye led DU in air rifle with a personal best score of 386, followed by Stephen Shanahan with 375.

The Dukes return to the range on Saturday, Feb. 14 as they participate in the NRA Collegiate Sectional / NCAA Qualifier.
