Women's Swimming Signs Three in Early Period

Duquesne University fourth year women's swimming coach David Sheets announced today that Susan Morrow (Wescosville, PA/Emmaus), Mallory Marx (Bradford, PA/Bradford) and Katrina Streiner (Monroeville, PA/Gateway) have signed National Letters of Intent to attend Duquesne for the 2005-06 academic year.

Morrow joins the Dukes after helping her Emmaus High team to a PIAA state AAA championship in 2004. She is also a member of the Emmaus Aquatic Club.

Marx is her school record holder in the butterfly, backstroke, 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay events. A three-time All-State selection, her 200 medley relay team captured first place at the 2004 PIAA AA Championships.

Streiner was named an All-American in the 50-yard freestyle after taking fourth place at the 2004 PIAA AAA Championships. She is a two-time WPIAL champion in the 50 freestyle and was the 2004 WPIAL champion in the 100 free.
