Duquesne University second year women's swimming coach David Sheets announced today that Laura Brodbeck (Naperville, IL/Neuqua Valley) has signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Duquesne for the 2003-04 academic year.

Brodbeck was a varsity letterman and All-American at Neuqua Valley High School where she led the Wildcats to a third place finish at the Illinois State Championship meet. In addition, she is the school record-holder in the 50-yard freestyle.

Brodbeck joins fellow recruits Jennifer Gordon (Emmaus, PA/Emmaus), Stacie McCracken (Irwin, PA/Penn Trafford), Regina Rush (Metuchen, NJ/Bishop George Ahr), Caitlyn Wilkins (Harrison City, PA/Penn Trafford), and Elizabeth Yager (Strongsville, OH/Strongsville) who signed with Duquesne in the fall.
