The Duquesne University Department of Athletics announced late this morning that tonight's Pittsburgh at Duquesne men's basketball game - the 72nd meeting in a series that dates back to 1932 - is sold out.
In addition to being the first advance men's basketball sellout in the history of the A.J. Palumbo Center, it is also the first sellout since Duquesne hosted a second round NIT game vs. Villanova on March 21, 1994.
The 6,200-seat Palumbo Center, which opened for basketball on December 3, 1988, celebrates its 15th birthday today.
Gates open tonight at 8:00 p.m., with tipoff set for 9:35 p.m. For those who can't attend the game or watch on television, you can follow along on the web by going to the men's basketball schedule page and clicking on the "Gametracker" link next to the Pitt game.
