Dukes Take Third at La Salle Invite

Philadelphia, Pa. - Duquesne University's women's cross-country team took third place at the La Salle Invitational Saturday afternoon at the Belmont Plateau in Philadelphia, Pa. The Dukes, ranked 15th in the latest Mid-Atlantic Regional rankings, were just 1:13.73 behind the host Explorers for second and 4:28.55 ahead of the fourth place Xavier Musketeers.

The Richmond Spiders won the six-team event. All six compete in the Atlantic 10 Conference.
