The men's basketball team made a valiant comeback, but fell just short in a 77-72 loss at Dayton. The Dukes, who trailed by as many as 20 points in the second half, bounced back to take a one point lead late in the game, but couldn't hold on as the Flyers secured the win in the waning seconds.

Senior Kevin Forney led the Dukes with 22 points while junior Jimmy Tricco sparked Duquesne's surge with six second half three-pointers.

The Red and Blue return to action next Saturday, January 18 as they host Richmond at 4:00 pm in the Palumbo Center.
