The women's swimming team set three school records in day two action at the Akron Invitational.

Sophomore Deidre Rodeheaver set a new University standard in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 25.01 and was also on two relay teams that established school records.

The 200 freestyle relay team of Rodeheaver, Laura Kephart, Stacey Porter and Elizabeth Barba broke the school record with a time of 1:39.20 while the 400 medley relay team of Alicia Smith, Jillian Rupinski, Kephart and Rodeheaver turned in a record-setting time of 4:01.54.
