The women's cross country team placed third of seven teams at the Bucknell Invitational Saturday. Junior Carrie Hucko (Wexford, Pa. / North Allegheny / Miami-OH) led the Dukes finishing fourth of 78 runners with a time of 23:10.

Sophomore Michelle Flynn (Monroeville, Pa. / Gateway) was second for DU (15th overall) in 24:31 and freshman Tara Gerlach (Erie, Pa. / Villa Maria Academy) was third (18th) in 24:39.

The Dukes return to action on Oct. 19 as they travel to Indiana State in Terre Haute, Indiana, for the NCAA Pre-National meet.
