The rifle team improved to 7-1 in shoulder-to-shoulder competition and 7-0 in the Mid-Atlantic Rifle Conference with an impressive win at Penn State. The Dukes defeated the Nittany Lions, 2229-2057 in smallbore action and 1503-1409 in air rifle competition.

Junior Adam Bester paced the Dukes in smallbore with a score of 566 followed by sophomore Keith Leopardi's 565. Junior Sara Barker led the Red and Blue in air rifle with a score of 383.

Duquesne returns to action on Saturday, Nov. 9 as it travels to the Buckeye Invitational at Ohio State.
