Christopher Tarullo joined the Duquesne strength and conditioning staff in the fall of 2016. In addition to being responsible for the women’s basketball team’s strength and condition programs, he works with the Dukes’ rowing, bowling, track and field throwers, swim and dive, men’s and women’s soccer, and cheer and dance programs.

Prior to his time at Duquesne, Tarullo served as strength and conditioning intern at the University of Michigan during the 2016 Spring and Summer semesters. He assisted in all facets of the Olympic sports strength and conditioning program which included 30 varsity sports.

Before landing in Ann Arbor, Tarullo served as an assistant strength and conditioning coach at Wilkes University for two years after interning with them in the spring of 2014. His primary duties included designing, organizing and implementing strength and conditioning programs as well as speed and agility sessions and providing recovery strategies 14 varsity sports including football and wrestling. 

Tarullo holds a B.S. in exercise science from Bloomsburg University (Pa.) and a M.S. in human performance and injury prevention from California University (Pa.). Tarullo is also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) by the National Strength and Conditioning Association, and a Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES) by the National Academy of Sports Medicine. 

Tarullo was raised in West Pittston, Pa. and currently resides in Pittsburgh’s Greenfield neighborhood.
