St. Bonaventure, N.Y. – The Duquesne University lacrosse team dropped a 14–9 Atlantic 10 road decision at St. Bonaventure on Wednesday.
Chelsea Evans tied a career high with four goals to lead the Dukes, adding game highs in ground balls (5) and caused turnovers (4). The four-goal effort marked her first since twice during her freshman campaign in 2023.
Gracin Emerson continued her record-setting season with four assists and one goal, pushing her season total to 44 assists and tying Meghan Frederick's single-season program record set in 2009. Emerson has recorded four or more assists in all eight games this season.
Chloe Holmes added two goals, while
Megan Marco and
Ali Evans each scored once.
Duquesne held a 13–11 edge in draw controls, led by freshman
Madison Welch with seven.
Defensively,
Addison Scanlon charted five ground balls tying Evans for a game high.
Ella Roach made 11 saves while playing all 60 minutes in goal.
After trailing 10–4 at halftime, the Dukes outscored the Bonnies 5–4 in the second half and netted five of the game's final seven goals.

Duquesne returns home Saturday to host George Mason at 1 p.m. at Rooney Field. The game will be broadcast on ESPN+.
