THE DUKES
Roster | Schedule | Stats
- Last Time Out: The Dukes scored 10 goals from six different players in a 20-10 loss to Davidson Saturday. Megan Marco led the offense with three goals for her second hat trick of the season, while Emma Raines and Chloe Holmes each added two. Sydney Girardi, Mia Piocquidio and Chelsea Evans also found the back of the net. Gracin Emerson added five assists. It was Duquesne's first home game in a month after four consecutive road contests, the longest stretch away since 2017.
- NCAA Leaders: Junior Gracin Emerson and senior Emma Raines rank among the nation's statistical leaders. Emerson leads Division I in assists (40) and assists per game (5.71), while Raines tops the country in shot percentage (81.5%).
- Gracin the Great: Gracin Emerson became the fourth Duke ever to record 40 or more assists in a single season last game. Approaching just the halfway mark of the 2026 season, Emerson is just four assists away from a Duquesne single-season high. The program record is 44, set by Meghan Frederick in 2009. She has at least four assists in every game and has tied the program's single-game assist record (7) twice — in the home opener against Mount St. Mary's and in the win at Mercyhurst. Prior to this season, only one seven-assist game had been recorded in Duquesne's previous 29 seasons. Emerson has posted six or more assists four times and is one of only two Division I players with multiple seven-assist games this season. She also has added four goals for 44 points, ranking fourth nationally with 6.29 points per game.
- Raining Goals: Emma Raines has five hat tricks this season and has scored multiple goals in every game. The Elverson, Pa., native leads the Dukes with 22 goals and ranks fifth in the A-10 at 3.14 goals per game. Her 81.5% shot percentage is No. 1 nationally, including perfect shooting games versus Mount St. Mary's (3-for-3), Robert Morris (2-for-2) and Saint Joseph's (3-for-3).
- We Shoot, We Score: Duquesne ranks second nationally in team shot percentage, scoring on 55.8% of its shots (82 goals on 147 attempts). From the free position arc, the Dukes are 52.6% (10-for-19), 23rd nationally.
- Program Records: Along with Emerson tying the single-game assist record twice, freshman Madison Welch set a Duquesne single-game record with 14 draw controls in the win at Mercyhurst. Welch averages 5.00 draw controls per game, ranking third in the Atlantic 10.
- Defensive Dukes: Casey McBride (1.86 caused turnovers per game) and Addison Scanlon (2.71 ground balls per game) both rank third in the A-10 in their respective categories.
- About the Dukes: Duquesne's 2026 roster features six seniors, five juniors, six sophomores and six freshmen under second-year head coach Tracy Coyne, who owns 328 career victories across 37 seasons — the eighth-most among active NCAA Division I head coaches. The Dukes are replacing two all-conference selections and five of their top six scorers from last season.
