- Last Time Out: Emma Raines recorded her fifth hat trick of the season with three goals on three shots, while Gracin Emerson added six assists in Duquesne's Atlantic 10 opener, a 25-9 loss at Saint Joseph's last Sunday.
- Home At Last: The Dukes return to Rooney Field for the first time in a month (Feb. 14 vs. Mount St. Mary's) following four consecutive road games — their longest road stretch since five straight away contests in 2017.
- Three NCAA Leaders: Duquesne leads the nation in team shot percentage, while Gracin Emerson ranks first in assists and assists per game and Emma Raines leads Division I in individual shot percentage.
- Emerson With the Assist: Gracin Emerson leads the country with 35 assists and averages 5.83 per game. The junior from East Lansing, Mich., already ranks fifth on Duquesne's single-season assists leaderboard. The program record is 44, set by Meghan Frederick in 2009. Emerson has recorded at least four assists in every game this season and has tied the program's single-game record with seven assists twice — in the home opener against Mount St. Mary's and in the win at Mercyhurst. Prior to this season, only one seven-assist game had been recorded in the program's previous 29 seasons. She has posted six or more assists in each of the last three games and four of six overall. Emerson is one of only two Division I players with multiple seven-assist games this season. She has also added four goals for 39 points, ranking third nationally with 6.50 points per game.
- We Shoot, We Score: Duquesne leads Division I with a 56.3 percent shot percentage, scoring 72 goals on 128 shots through six games.
- Raining Goals: Senior attacker Emma Raines leads the nation in shot percentage, converting over 83 percent of her attempts. She has scored a career-high 20 goals on just 24 shots. Raines has recorded five hat tricks this season and has scored multiple goals in every game, including a career-best five in the win over Mercyhurst. Her 3.33 goals per game rank third in the Atlantic 10.
- Program Records: Along with Emerson tying the program's single-game assist record twice, freshman Madison Welch set a Duquesne single-game record with 14 draw controls in the win at Mercyhurst. Welch averages 5.33 draw controls per game, ranking third in the Atlantic 10.
- Defensive Dukes: Casey McBride (2.17 caused turnovers per game) and Addison Scanlon (2.67 ground balls per game) both rank among the top four in the Atlantic 10 in their respective categories.
- About the Dukes: Duquesne's 2026 roster features six seniors, five juniors, six sophomores and six freshmen under second-year head coach Tracy Coyne, who owns 328 career victories across 37 seasons — the eighth-most among active NCAA Division I head coaches. The Dukes are replacing two all-conference selections and five of their top six scorers from last season due to graduation.

- Davidson opened the season 6-0 before dropping its Atlantic 10 opener to St. Bonaventure, 8-6, last Saturday. The Bonnies erased a 4-1 deficit and scored six straight goals from late in the second quarter through the fourth to take control and held on for the win.
- The Wildcats were picked third in the Atlantic 10 preseason poll, their highest preseason ranking since joining the conference. Davidson has recorded five consecutive 10-win seasons and finished 12-5 (8-2 A-10) last year, earning the No. 3 seed in the A-10 Championship before falling to VCU in the quarterfinals.
- Goalkeeper Kayla Joyce, attacker Jenna Skibbe and midfielder Allie Hartnett were named to the preseason all-conference team. Skibbe leads the Wildcats with 22 goals this season.
- Among national leaders, Davidson ranks fourth in ground balls per game (20.86), sixth in caused turnovers per game (12.43), seventh in scoring defense (7.43 goals allowed per game) and 15th in scoring margin (+5.14). Joyce ranks 12th nationally in save percentage (.505).

30TH SEASON OF DUKES LACROSSE
Duquesne lacrosse is celebrating its 30th season as a varsity program on the Bluff in 2026. The Dukes, who began play in 1997, own an all-time record of 240-236 and have made 15 Atlantic 10 Championship appearances, highlighted by two regular-season co-championships.
