THE DUKES
Roster • Schedule • Stats
  • Last Time Out: Duquesne fell, 19-13, in its home opener last Saturday to drop to 0-2. The Dukes outscored Mount St. Mary's, 7-5, in the second half and closed the contest on a 6-2 run — including the game's final four goals — but the comeback effort fell short. Gracin Emerson finished with a career-high eight points, totaling one goal and seven assists, tying the program's single-game record set in 2007. Emma Raines led eight goal scorers with a hat trick.
  • National Leader: Gracin Emerson is off to an impressive start to her junior campaign. The East Lansing, Michigan, native has 11 assists through the first two games, leading all of Division I in assists per game while pacing the Atlantic 10 in both assists and points per game. Her seven assists tied Kat McNish's program record (2007 vs. Monmouth), a mark that had stood alone for 6,924 days. The total is also tied for the most in a game by any NCAA player this season and the highest by an Atlantic 10 player in nearly two years.
  • Hat Trickin': Senior attacker Emma Raines has recorded back-to-back hat tricks to open the season and leads the Dukes with six goals. Raines owns an .857 shot percentage, ranking sixth nationally, and now has six career hat tricks.
  • Career Firsts: Freshman Sydney Girardi netted her first two collegiate goals in her Rooney Field debut last time out. Ali Evans added the first multi-goal game of her career with two scores against the Mountaineers.
  • Efficient Offense: Duquesne ranks No. 7 in Division I in team shot percentage (.559).
  • McBride in Charge: Senior defender Casey McBride is tied for second in the Atlantic 10 with 2.0 caused turnovers per game. McBride recorded three — all via drawn offensive fouls — last Saturday while adding a game-high three ground balls.
  • About the Dukes: Duquesne features six seniors, five juniors, six sophomores and six freshmen on its 2026 roster, led by second-year head coach Tracy Coyne, who owns 327 career victories across 37 seasons — the eighth-most among active NCAA Division I head coaches. The Dukes are replacing the production of two all-conference selections and five of their top six scorers from last season due to graduation.
THE COLONIALS
Roster • Schedule • Stats
  • Robert Morris enters at 1-1, defeating Atlantic 10 member George Mason on the road in its opener, 11-10, in overtime, before falling to Canisius, 11-8, last Friday in its home opener.
  • The Colonials were picked No. 4 in the Mid-American Conference preseason poll. Last season, RMU earned the MAC's No. 1 seed and advanced to the conference championship game before falling to Akron, 11-10, in overtime. The Colonials finished 8-11 overall and 4-2 in league play.
  • Freshman Julia Foley delivered the overtime game-winner in the season opener, while sophomore midfielder Mia Berthoff leads the team with nine goals and two assists through two games. Berthoff, an early presence on the national goals-per-game leaderboard, is the only Colonial with more than two goals this season. Eight players have scored for RMU.

  • Last Meeting: Feb. 12, 2025 at DUQ – L, 11-10

The Dukes tied the game at 10 with under five minutes remaining after erasing a three-goal deficit, but the Colonials scored the winner less than a minute later. Duquesne had three shots in the final minute. Returning scorers from that game include Evans (2) and Emerson (1)..
