Pittsburgh, Pa. – Former Duquesne women's basketball forward Kiandra Browne has signed a professional contract with Get United, who competes in the Women's Basketball League (WBL) and will be playing in the promotiedivisie, which is the second tier of basketball in the Netherlands.

Browne, a native of Montreal, Quebec, appeared in 58 games and made 35 starts for Duquesne from 2023 to 2025 after transferring from Indiana. She averaged 4.7 points and 3.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 37.0 percent from the field and 31.1 percent from behind the arc.

"We are very happy for Kiandra continuing our legacy of Duquesne players playing professionally overseas," head coach Dan Burt said. "Kiandra is a great addition to her team because she excels at the little things that not all pro's want to do. Taking charges, rebounding, leadership, and a strong ability to score the basketball, we are very excited about Kiandra's pro future."

Browne began her NCAA Division I career at Indiana, where she played from 2020 to 2023. Over three seasons, she appeared in 58 games with eight starts, averaging more than 3.0 points and 2.3 rebounds per game while shooting an efficient 57.0 percent (49-of-86) from the field. Despite battling injuries, the Montreal native established herself as a physical presence in the paint, recording over 130 rebounds, 54 on the offensive glass, along with 11 steals and seven blocks during her time in Bloomington.

During her two seasons on the Bluff, Browne knocked down a career-best 33 three-pointers and shot an impressive 70.5 percent (62-for-88) from the charity stripe. As a senior, she ranked fifth on the team in scoring (6.2 ppg) and third in rebounding (3.7 rpg). She reached double figures six times, led the Dukes in scoring once, and paced the team in rebounding on three occasions. Defensively, she was a steady presence, leading the squad with 39 charges drawn, finishing with 12 games of five or more rebounds, and ranking third on the team with 126 total boards.

Browne delivered a career performance in the Atlantic 10 quarterfinals against Richmond, posting a career-high 18 points on an efficient 9-of-15 shooting (60.0 percent) while adding a team-best seven rebounds. She did much of her damage in the third quarter, scoring eight points on 4-of-6 shooting

Browne becomes the 25th Duquesne student-athlete to play for Burt and sign a professional contract overseas.
