BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – Duquesne running back
Ness Davis was named a Northeast Conference Prime Performer for Week 4,
the league announced on Monday.
Davis rushed for 102 yards on 11 carries in the Dukes' game at FBS Akron, highlighted by a 74-yard run that was stopped just short of the goal line and set up Duquesne's lone touchdown. Davis' 74-yard run was the longest rush in the NEC this week. The performance also marked his first 100-yard game as a Duke and the second of his career.

The Dukes return to Rooney Field next weekend to open a three-game homestand, hosting New Haven in their non-conference finale. Kickoff is set for noon.
