Isabella, Odoemenem Named NEC Prime Performers for Week 3

PITTSBURGH – Duquesne wide receiver Joey Isabella and linebacker Jabari Odoemenem were recognized as Northeast Conference (NEC) Prime Performers for Week 3, the league announced on Monday.

It marks the second Prime Performer honor of the season for Isabella, who caught eight passes for a career-high 153 yards and scored on a 66-yard touchdown in Saturday's matchup with No. 10/12 Lehigh. The eight receptions tied his career high (second time this season), while the 153 yards marked his second 100-plus yard game of the season and fifth of his career.

Odoemenem earns his first NEC Prime Performer nod of the season after posting a career-best 12 tackles—the most by any NEC player last week—to lead the Dukes' defense against the Mountain Hawks. He was the first Duquesne player this season to reach double-digit tackles.

The Dukes return to action on Saturday, Sept. 20, traveling to Akron for a 6 p.m. kickoff on ESPN+, their second FBS matchup of the season.
