- The Duquesne University volleyball team opens up a five-match road swing this weekend, traveling to Chicago, Ill., to battle Loyola Chicago on Friday, Oct. 10 and Saturday, Oct. 11 during conference action inside Gentile Arena.
- The Dukes wrapped up three straight games inside UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse this past weekend. Dropping a pair to George Mason. Duquesne rallied back on Friday night to force a fifth set but fell 3-2 in the end before dropping a 3-1 decision on Saturday evening.
- On Friday, two Dukes finished in double figures offensively, led by
Emersen Schrom. The sophomore notched her ninth double-double of the season with 20 kills and 13 digs, including seven kills in the decisive fifth set. It marked her fifth match this year with 20-plus kills.
- Freshman
Karli Jordan added 10 kills, four digs, and two blocks, while classmate
Mirabella Iriarte contributed six kills, a career-best four aces, and 3.5 blocks. Junior
Chloe Wilmot recorded her eighth double-double of the season, dishing out 37 assists to go along with 13 digs, one ace, and one kill.
- On the defensive end, senior
Madison Grimm anchored the back row with a team-high 15 digs and three assists, while fellow senior
Hanna Wilson chipped in 12 digs, three assists, and an ace.
- Freshman
Karli Jordan was the lone Duke with double figure kills, tying her career-high with 14 to go along with a .414 hitting percentage on Saturday. The freshman did her damage in the third and fourth set, registering nine of her 14 in those frames.

Emersen Schrom finished with nine kills, five digs, and two blocks while Helm ended with seven successful swings and one block. Junior
Chloe Wilmot carded her ninth double-double of the season, tallying 31 assists and a team leading 12 digs while collecting two aces and a block.

Madison Grimm registered 11 digs and five assists while
Mirabella Iriarte tied her career-high with four service aces.
- Duquesne continues its road trip when it travels to Fordham for a double-header on Friday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 18. In Bronx, N.Y.
Scouting The Ramblers – Loyola Chicago enters the weekend having won four of its last five matches, most recently earning a come-from-behind 3–2 victory at Saint Louis on Tuesday night. The Ramblers hold a 4–1 record in Atlantic 10 play and sit at 7–10 overall. Four Ramblers are averaging more than two kills per set, led by Kaitlyn Burke, who contributes over three points per set and averages 2.86 kills per frame. Burke has recorded double-digit kills in 11 matches this season, including a current streak of four straight. Ava Hunter and Josie Halbleib guide the offense, each averaging more than five assists per set, with Hunter leading the way at 5.86. Defensively, Sam Falk anchors the back row with 4.18 digs per set, while Avary DeBlieck has tallied 72 total blocks, an average of 1.16 per set.
George Mason Remains – On Friday, the Patriots opened the final set with six straight points to seize an early 6–0 advantage, but the Dukes roared back with seven unanswered to take a 7–6 lead. Three consecutive Mason attacking errors fueled the surge before sophomore
Emersen Schrom hammered four straight kills to put Duquesne in front. A kill from Kiera Hamilton halted the run, and the teams soon found themselves deadlocked at 9–9. George Mason regained momentum with a 2–0 spurt to go up 11–9, forcing a Dukes timeout. Out of the break, Schrom added another kill and a Mason miscue pulled Duquesne within one (12–11). The Patriots, however, closed strong with the final three points to secure the set, 15–11, and the match. On Saturday, The Patriots took an early 1-0 lead, hitting nearly .300 with 15 kills in a 25-15 opening-set win. Duquesne responded with its best offensive performance of the night, hitting .376 to take the second set 25-19. The Dukes built an 8-6 lead behind

Mirabella Iriarte's three straight aces fueled a 7-1 run to make it 19-12. Despite a late push from George Mason, a Patriot error and a Henschen kill sealed the set to even the match at one.
Newcomer To Game Changer – Freshman outside hitter
Karli Jordan continues to make her presence felt in her rookie campaign on the Bluff. She's averaging 2.42 kills per set with 143 total on the year, both ranking third on the team. Jordan has totaled 160.5 points this season, averaging 2.72 per set. She's recorded eight matches with double-digit kills, including three of the last four contests. Most recently, she matched her season high with 14 kills against George Mason. Defensively, Jordan ranks fifth on the team with 25.0 total blocks, tallying 19 block assists and six solo rejections.
The Nation's Top - Junior setter
Chloe Wilmot is orchestrating a standout season as the driving force behind the Duquesne offense. She leads all NCAA Division I players with 676 total assists and ranks eighth nationally with 10.73 assists per set. The Virginia native has tallied 16 consecutive matches with 30 or more assists, including seven performances topping 40. Earlier this season, Wilmot set a career high with 66 assists and added a personal-best 19 digs in a five-set battle at Miami (OH). She also became just the eighth player in program history to eclipse 2,000 career assists and now ranks eighth all-time at Duquesne with 2,2323. Beyond her playmaking, Wilmot has posted nine double-doubles, tied for team lead while appearing in every set this season.
Inside The Conference – With Atlantic 10 play underway, several Dukes are making their presence felt in conference action. Sophomore
Emersen Schrom ranks fourth in the league with 74 total kills and is also fourth with an average of 3.52 per set. She's totaled 81.5 points in A-10 play, good for fourth overall, while her 3.88 points per set rank fifth. Sophomore
Mirabella Iriarte has served up eight aces in conference matches, tied for third in the A-10, while her 0.57 aces per set stand second. Junior
Chloe Wilmot sits third in the league with 184 total assists, averaging 8.76 per set, and senior
Ariel Helm rounds out the group with a .329 hitting percentage, good for 10th in the conference.
