BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – Duquesne linebacker Tyson Meiguez was named an NEC Prime Performer for Week 9, the league announced Monday afternoon.

Meiguez led the Dukes with eight tackles in Saturday's road matchup at Wagner. The graduate linebacker added a career-best 2.0 tackles for loss and one sack, pacing a Duquesne defense that tied its season high with 11 tackles for loss.

This marks Meiguez's third NEC weekly honor of the year.
