Pittsburgh, Pa. - Former Duquesne University women's basketball forward
Precious Johnson has signed a professional contract with TARR KSC Szekszárd, who competes in the top flight of the Hungarian Basketball League.
Johnson, a native of Helsingborg, Sweden, appeared in 136 games for Duquesne from 2019 to 2024 while having 39 starting assignments. Her 136 appearances rank second all-time in Duquesne history as she averaged 7.6 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 1.2 blocks per game for her career.

In five seasons with the Dukes, Johnson continued to stuff the stat sheet. She shot .517 percent (424-for-820) from the field which ranks second all-time at Duquesne while her 158 total blocks sit fourth in program history. In a game at Howard earlier in 2023-24, Johnson posted a career-best eight rejections, which ties for the most in the single game in program history.
Johnson eclipsed the 1,000-point plateau in her final season at Duquesne, as a layup at the 2:55 mark in the third quarter against Massachusetts in the second round of the Atlantic 10 Tournament, helped her reach the milestone. Overall, Johnson finished her career with 1,039 points, which ranks 30
th in DU history, 639 rebounds, 65 steals and successfully converted 70.0 percent (160-for-229) from the charity stripe.
During the 2023-24 campaign, Johnson appeared in all 34 contests while leading the team in field goal percentage at .533 percent (99-for-179). The 6'4 forward continued to be consistent against conference foes as her .630 shooting percentage (58-for-92) led the A-10 conference. Johnson averaged 7.2 points, 4.4 rebounds, and 1.1 blocks while being the main primary off the bench for the Dukes. She led the team and sat sixth in the league in total blocks (37) while sitting seventh in blocks per game (1.1). The Sweden native registered two or more blocks in 10 contests while recording three double-doubles and scoring in double figures 13 times.

nd Duquesne student-athlete to play for Burt and sign a professional contract overseas.
Duquesne is led by Burt, who enters his 12
th season at the helm in 2024-25. The Dukes return one starter and three letterwinners from the 2023-24 squad that finished with an overall record of 21-13 (.618), including a 13-5 (.722) mark in conference action.
