- The Duquesne University volleyball team travels to Saint Louis, Missouri for its first conference road test of the season, when it battles the Billikens on Friday, Oct. 4 at 6:00 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 5 at 2:00 p.m. inside Chaifetz Pavilion.

- The Dukes began Atlantic 10 play last weekend, when they split the series with George Washington. Duquesne captured a 3-1 victory on Friday night before falling 3-0 on Saturday afternoon.

- On Friday, graduate student Elizabeth Drelling finished with 11 kills, seven digs, and one ace. With her 11 kills, Drelling has now reached double-figures in seven consecutive contests. Junior Carsyn Henschen and sophomore Avery Hobson each tallied nine successful swings while Hobon collected nine digs and 1.5 blocks.

- Junior Ariel Helm produced eight kills, three digs, and 1.5 rejections while classmate Madison Grimm carded a team-high 16 digs. Graduate student Grace Kristofic recorded a team-leading 20 assists with eight digs while sophomore Chloe Wilmot collected 16 assists and seven digs in the win.

- Against the Revolutionaries on Saturday, Duquesne was led by Hobson, who registered six kills, four digs, and 1.0 block while Drelling and sophomore Jordan Robertson each tallied five kills each.

- Drelling collected eight digs while Robertson posted a team-high 3.5 blocks. Sophomore Chloe Wilmot recorded 11 assists with five digs while freshman Amalia Martin posted six helpers off the bench. Junior Madison Grimm registered a team-leading 11 digs, with three assists on Saturday.

- Duquesne returns back to Pittsburgh after battling Saint Louis as it will host No. 23 Dayton on Tuesday, Oct. 8 inside UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. The match against the Flyers will be the Dukes annual Pink Out Match, beginning at 5:00 p.m.

Scouting the Billikens – This weekend's series against Saint Louis will mark the 35th and 36th meeting between the two squads as the Billikens hold a 25-9 advantage in the series. Although, the Dukes have won three consecutive matches against Saint Louis, including a pair of five-set thrillers a season ago. … The Billikens come into the weekend with a 7-8 overall mark, including a 2-1 record in league action. They began conference play by sweeping Fordham before dropping its first A-10 match at Loyola Chicago on Tuesday. … Addy Brus paces the Billikens as she leads the conference in total kills (227) and total points (252). She currently sits second in the A-10 in kills per set (3.91) and points per set (4.34).

On A Tear – Outside hitter Elizabeth Drelling has been consistent for Duquesne this season. During the Dukes five-match homestand, Drelling averaged 10.6 kills per match, 3.12 kills per set and carded a hitting percentage of .301. On the defensive, she registered 7.6 digs per match while collecting 2.24 digs, and 0.35 blocks per set. The graduate student tallied a 10 kill, 10 dig double-double against Mercyhurst before posting a season-high 17 kills on a .500 swing percentage against Canisius. In her first A-10 opener in Duquesne uniform, she tallied 11 kills, seven digs, and a service ace to lead the Dukes. The California native has reached double-figure kills in seven of the last eight matches while ranking seventh in the league in total points (171.5) and 10th in points per set (3.70).

Leading The Way – Junior middle blocker Ariel Helm continues to control the net for the Dukes as her 1.24 blocks per set leads the conference and her 62.0 total rejections ranks second and 48th in the country. Helm has collected 15 solo blocks this season, which leads the A-10 as she has tallied a solo rejection in five of the last six matches. The Indiana native is off to a hot start and has the potential to pass her career-best, where she posted 92.0 total blocks during her rookie campaign. Helms defensive efforts were honored by the league office as she was named A-10 Defensive Player of the Week last week (9/23).
