- The Dukes opened up a three match road swing this weekend, traveling to Davidson, NC., to battle the Wildcats on Friday, Oct. 25 and Saturday, Oct. 26 inside John M. Belk Arena.
- The Duquesne University volleyball team is coming off its 50
th season celebration last weekend, splitting a pair of matches with Fordham. The Dukes dropped a 3-1 decision on Friday night before responding with a 3-1 victory on Saturday.
- On Friday, three Dukes finished with double figure kills, led by graduate student
Elizabeth Drelling. She tallied a season-high 18 kills while carding a .300 swing percentage. Drelling registered four digs and three total blocks.

Ariel Helm finished with 11 successful swings, on a .409 hitting percentage while totaling six blocks and four digs. Sophomore
Jordan Robertson tied her career-high with 10 kills while swinging at a .529 percent clip and collected three total rejections.

Chloe Wilmot posted her seventh double-double of the season with 26 assists and 14 digs while tying her career-high with four aces. Grad student
Grace Kristofic registered her second double-double with 17 helpers and 12 digs while posting three aces. Junior
Madison Grimm ended with a team-leading 17 digs while tallying three assists.
- In the victory on Saturday, a pair of Dukes finished with double figure kills, led by freshman
Emersen Schrom and sophomore
Avery Hobson. Schrom finished with a team-leading 14 kills and a .400 hitting percentage while tallying 2.5 blocks. Hobson carded her second double-double of the season, finishing with 13 kills and 15 digs, to go along with two aces.

Carsyn Henschen and grad student
Elizabeth Drelling each tallied nine kills while Drelling posted six digs. Sophomore
Chloe Wilmot (25) and graduate student
Grace Kristofic (20) combined for 45 total assists while Wilmot recorded her eighth double-double with 11 digs and a trio of service aces.
- Junior
Madison Grimm ended with a team leading 17 digs while carding five assists and an ace in the win. Sophomore
Jordan Robertson led the team and registered a season-high eight total blocks.
- The Dukes have a quick turnaround after battling Davidson as they travel to Dayton on Tuesday, Oct. 29, with the opening serve scheduled for 5:00 p.m.
Scouting The Wildcats – Picked fourth in this season's preseason poll, Davidson comes into this weekend with a 9-11 overall record and a 5-4 mark in league play. The Wildcats ended a four-match round swing, winning three consecutive matches, most recently a 3-1 win and a 3-0 sweep over Saint Louis. Davidson is led by Isabel Decker, who currently is tied for first in the league with 312 total kills and sits fourth with 3.40 kills per set. Decker has totaled 351 points, sitting second in the conference while her 3.51 points per set rank fourth. It'll be the 20
th and 21
st meeting this weekend between the two squads as the Wildcats have won the last four contests but the Dukes hold an 11-8 edge in the all-time series.
Stuffed At The Net – One of the most consistent middle blockers in the country, junior
Ariel Helm is on a tear this season. She surpassed 100.0 total blocks this past weekend for the season, the first time she's done that in her career. Helm currently ranks seventh in the country in total blocks (108) while sitting 31
st in Division I in blocks per set (1.33). She leads the Atlantic 10 in both categories while sitting ninth in school history in total blocks in a season. The Indiana native has recorded nine matches with 6.0-plus blocks while posting three with 9.0-plus rejections. Helm is also getting it done on the offensive side as well, ranking third in the league in hitter percentage (.329) while tallying 148 total kills.
Keep Calm & Trust The Setter – The Dukes feature a pair of setters in sophomore
Chloe Wilmot and graduate student
Grace Kristofic. Wilmot ranks fourth in the A-10 in total assists (491) while averaging 5.78 assists per set which ranks eighth. The sophomore has carded eight double-doubles this year while registering double figure helpers in all 21 contests. Kristofic has registered 19 matches with double digit helpers while posting a pair of double-doubles. She has recorded seven matches with 20-plus assists and is currently on a streak of seven straight matches with double figure helpers. The duo combined has tallied just under 800 (799) total assists so far this season.
