UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Duquesne University women's tennis team fell at home to Cornell on Monday afternoon. The Dukes were outscored 7-0.
Duquesne moves to 4-4 on the spring season with the loss.
Even though all the doubles matches were tight, Duquesne couldn't pull ahead in any of them.
In singles, senior
Daniela Latoni lost her match in three sets, 6-4, 1-6, 6-2, as the No. 3. Playing as the No. 5, graduate student
Anastasiia Kotsyuba lost her tightly contested match, 6-7 (3), 6-3, 11-13.
Duquesne will play for the third-straight day tomorrow when they host Ashland at 10 A.M. ET.
