SOMERSET, N.J. - Duquesne bowling, currently ranked No. 11 nationally, has earned a share of the 2022-23 Northeast Conference regular season championship by virtue of its 17-4 league record.
This is the first NEC regular season crown for the seventh-year program.
The Dukes, who tied for the title with Fairleigh Dickinson, will take a No. 2 seed into the NEC Championship scheduled for March 24-26 at Hamilton Lanes in Hamilton, N.J.
FDU earned the top seed by virtue of a head-to-head tiebreaker with the Dukes. This will be the third time DU will enter the Championship at the second seed.
The winner of the NEC Championship will earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championship.
