Duquesne (18-8, 8-5), winner of five of six, hits the road for the first time in two weeks when it heads to Missouri to take on Saint Louis (17-9, 9-4) on Saturday, Feb. 18 at 8:00 p.m. ET (ESPN+). The Dukes and Billikens are in the thick of the battle for one of four Atlantic 10 Championship double byes.

Duquesne, which completed a three-game homestand with a 76-62 win over Saint Joseph's on Wednesday, has opened the month of February with four-straight wins for the first time since the 1970-71 NCAA Tournament team (No. 15 AP, 21-4) started 7-0.

DU is 2-4 on the road with A-10 wins at Saint Joseph's and GW. SLU is 12-3 at home, with the lone A-10 loss coming at the hands of VCU in a game that featured 11 ties and 16 lead changes.

The Dukes have turned up the defense in their past four games, holding their last four opponents to an average of 58.8 ppg. Duquesne has turned 78 opponent turnovers (19.5/g.) into 96 points (+42) over that span.

The Dukes had the fourth-highest NET ranking among A-10 schools (109) through Wednesday.

TRENDING
  • DU, which tripled last season's win total (6-24) with Wednesday's victory over Saint Joe's, is on pace for the biggest one season turnaround in school history (see page 12 of PDF notes).

  • This is the third time since Duquesne began conference play (1976-77) that a DU team has 18 wins through its first 26 games - two have come under Keith Dambrot: 1981 (18-8) & 2020 (18-8) are the others.
  • Duquesne's 66-55 win over DePaul on Dec. 14 was the program's first over a Big East school since an 86-82 home victory over West Virginia on Nov. 25, 2002.
  • Duquesne's top seven scorers are transfers: Dae Dae Grant (Miami, Ohio), Jimmy Clark III (NW Fla. College), R.J. Gunn (Lenoir-Rhyne), Joe Reece (Bowling Green), Tre Williams (Indiana State), Tevin Brewer (FIU) and Quincy McGriff (Salt Lake CC).
