Duquesne Athletics mourns the loss of Men's Basketball Director of Community Relations and Player Mentoring, Bill Brown, who passed on Feb. 15. Coach Brown was a valuable member of the support staff for the past six years.

"I have never been around a person who exuded positivity like Coach Brown," said Duquesne head men's basketball coach Keith Dambrot. "His love of young people was reflected in every second he spent around our basketball program. The impact he had on both his former players as well as ours is immeasurable. Bill was one-of-a-kind. His relentless optimism will be missed, but I know that all who knew him will find a way to carry that optimism on his his memory. Our thoughts and prayers are with Brown family as they mourn his loss and celebrate his life."
