THE DUKES

  • The Dukes enter the final weekend of the regular season off a split against George Mason at home. Both matches went four sets with Duquesne taking the opener and then falling in the second.

  • Chloe Wilmot earned her fifth A-10 Rookie of the Week award last week which tied a program high. Wilmot tallied 73 assists and 25 digs over the two matches and recorded a double-double in each match. Wilmot now leads the team with 12 double-doubles.

  • Wilmot leads the team with 940 assists on the season. Wilmot sits at second in the A-10 in both total assists and assists per set. Wilmot also leads the team in aces (29) and is second in digs (253).

  • Wilmot needs 60 assists over the next two matches to reach 1000 on the season. The Alexandria, Va. product has 18 matches with 30+ kills and has accomplished the feat in each of her last four matches.

  • Duquesne has three players with over 200 kills in freshman Avery Hobson (270), sophomore Carsyn Henschen (267) and graduate student Morgan Gish (258). All three of them are in the top 10 in the A-10 in kills per set with Henschen in fourth, Hobson in seventh and Gish in 10th.

  • Sophomore Madison Grimm leads Duquesne with 323 digs. Grimm is seventh in the A-10 in total digs.

  • Freshman Jordan Robertson leads the Dukes with 86.0 blocks on the season. Sophomore Ariel Helm is second with 75.0. Helm is third in the A-10 in blocks per set, and Robertson is seventh.

THE WILDCATS

  • The Davidson Wildcats enter Pittsburgh as winners of three straight, fresh off a sweep against Saint Louis.

  • Senior Bella Brady leads the Wildcats in digs with 491. Brady leads the A-10 in digs per set and is second in the conference in total digs. She also leads the 'Cats with 29 aces.

  • Sophomores Jackie Bardin and Emma Slusser are each on the cusp of 200-kill seasons. Bardin leads Davidson with 199 kills and Slusser is second on the team at 197.

  • Junior Xuan Nguyen leads Davidson with 550 assists on the season. Senior Jessie Doyal is second with 442.

  • Sophomore Kayla Davis' 87.0 blocks lead the Wildcats. Davis is sixth in the A-10 in total blocks.

  • Davidson was picked to finish third in the A-10 preseason poll and received one first-place vote.

THE SERIES

  • Duquesne is 11-6 all-time against Davidson in the series dating back to 2003. Davidson swept Duquesne last year and has won three of the last four matches.

IN THE HUNT

  • Duquesne is one of three teams vying for the final two spots in the A-10 Championship Tournament along with Saint Louis and Fordham.

  • Fordham currently sits at fifth in the A-10 at 7-9, while the Dukes and Billikens are tied for sixth at 6-10. Only six teams qualify.

  • Duquesne has the advantage in the head-to-head record against Saint Louis, having swept the Billikens back in early October. The Dukes split with Fordham to open A-10 play in September.

  • If the Dukes do as well or better than Saint Louis does, they will qualify. Duquesne can pass Fordham by sweeping the Wildcats and Fordham being swept.

  • Fordham will visit George Mason (4-12) this weekend. The Billikens will play host to George Washington (4-12).

WEEKLY HONORS FOR THE DUKES

  • Chloe Wilmot earned her league-leading fifth A-10 Rookie of the Week honor last week after collecting two double-doubles in as many matches last week. Wilmot now has 12 double-doubles this season and is tied for the program record with five rookie of the week honors.
