PITTSBURGH - The Duquesne women's bowling team will travel to six states as part of the 2022-23 schedule released today by head coach
Jody Fetterhoff.
The seventh-year program will play in nine regular-season events, including three Northeast Conference matches.
DU, which finished last season ranked 12th in the National Tenpin Coaches Association Top 25, opens at the Mercyhurst University Invite on Oct. 8-9 at Rolling Meadow Lanes in Erie, Pa.
The Dukes will then head to Struthers, Ohio for the MOTIV Penguin Classic, hosted by Youngstown State, on Oct. 14-16.
Duquesne will play in its own backyard for the first time in program history when the first of three NEC events will be held on Nov. 12-13 at Nesbits Lanes in nearby Plum, Pa.
DU will then head to Delaware for the Hawk Classic (Nov. 18-20), before concluding the calendar year with the second NEC match set for Dec. 3-4 at Bowlero North Brunswick (N.J.).
Duquesne will be idle until the Jan. 20-22 Northeast Classic at Deptford Lanes in Deptford, N.J.
The Dukes will head to Altoona, Pa. for Saint Francis U's Red Flash Invitational on Jan. 27-29.
A trip to Orlando, Fla. for the Sunshine State Classic is scheduled for Feb. 10-12, followed by the final NEC event of the season on Feb. 18-19 at AMF Circle Lanes in East Haven, Conn.
The 2022-23 NEC Championship is set for Mar. 24-26 at Hamilton Lanes in Hamilton, N.J. The conference champion earns an automatic spot in the NCAA Championship scheduled for Apr. 14-15 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Duquesne University and SportsPITTSBURGH will serve as host for one of four NCAA Regionals at AMF Mt. Lebanon Lanes on April 7-8.
DU will also compete in ISC/ITC Sectionals on March 10-12, with the ISC/ITC Championships set for April 16-21 in Las Vegas.
