Internship Opportunities for the 2022-23 Academic Year

Duquesne athletics is seeking energetic, responsible, and dedicated marketing interns and leadership for the Red & Blue Crew during the 2022-23 academic year.

Athletics marketing interns work directly with the marketing department to assist in developing and implementing promotional plans for our home athletic events.  "I learned a lot about collegiate sports, and I'm grateful for all of the hands-on experience I've gained that I didn't get in the classroom," says senior Maria Doench.  Interns assist in executing all game day promotions and activities at all of our home athletic events for the fall and spring semesters.  Junior Eric Swain describes his favorite part of interning as "seeing Duquesne students and families smile on gameday."  Interns who work with us all year have priority in working all external events, including the NCAA tournament.

The Red & Blue Crew executive board works directly with the department of athletics to promote student attendance at home athletic events.   "Being a part of Red and Blue Crew leadership has given me so many great opportunities. I have been able to work closely with our student athletes and coaches to create the best gameday atmosphere possible," says senior Seth Benson.  "It has also given me great opportunities as a sports marketing major in social media management, event planning, marketing plan creation and more."

Both applications for the 2022-2023 academic year are now open.  The deadline to apply for both is Friday, April 15 at 5:00pm.  To apply for either position, please send your resume and cover letter to vorcel@duq.edu.
