Duquesne, SportsNet Pittsburgh Set Basketball Partnership

Five games each for men's and women's basketball in 2025-26 to be seen on SNP

Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University Department of Athletics announced Wednesday it has reached agreement with SportsNet Pittsburgh (SNP) to broadcast select men's and women's basketball games during the 2025-26 season as well as carry the Duquesne Basketball Coach's Show.

"Our association with SportsNet Pittsburgh continues to bring value to the surrounding region in showcasing Duquesne basketball," Duquesne Vice President of Athletics Dave Harper said. "It's exciting to be able to continue to strengthen that affiliation with SNP to not only bring an exciting style of basketball from our men's and women's programs to a wide audience, but the Duquesne University brand, as well."

A total of five men's basketball and women's basketball games will be broadcast on SNP. The schedule begins Friday, Nov. 7, when the men's program hosts Sacred Heart at 7:00 p.m. in the first game of the Villanova Challenge at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. The first women's game to be broadcast is Monday, Nov. 24, when the Dukes take on Kent State in a 6:00 p.m. tip.

Also on the schedule for the women's program is the annual City Game against the University of Pittsburgh, which is set for Sunday, Dec. 21, at 1:00 p.m. from UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. Also on the docket for the women's team are Atlantic 10 games against St. Bonaventure (Jan. 7), La Salle (Jan. 31) and VCU (Feb. 21).

Home games for the men's program to be broadcast on SNP in addition to its game against Sacred Heart include a non-conference matchup with William & Mary (Dec. 2) and Atlantic 10 contests against George Washington (Feb. 7), La Salle (Feb. 18) and Richmond (March 7).

The Duquesne Basketball Coach's Show, hosted by Tim Benz, premieres Thursday, Oct. 30, at 5:30 p.m. with men's head coach Dru Joyce III and women's head coach Dan Burt each previewing the 2025-26 season for their respective programs.
