Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Duquesne University Department of Athletics, in conjunction with Frank Fuhrer Distributors, announced Tuesday that Bluff 78, crafted by
Helltown Brewing and benefiting Duquesne Athletics, will be available at over 200 restaurants, pubs, grocery stores and distributors throughout the greater Pittsburgh region.
Bluff 78 is an American Lager with a crisp taste that in addition to being available at each of the five locations of Helltown Brewing in the Pittsburgh region, will also be available for purchase at multiple Giant Eagle locations as well as various restaurants, pubs, beer distributors and grocery stories. The official tapping of Bluff 78 is set for Tuesday, August 26, at Helltown Tap Room in the Strip District from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., located at 1700 Penn Avenue. Bluff 78 will also be available at all home athletics events throughout the course of the 2025-26 season.
Bluff 78 will be available at the first Mike's Beer Bar Coaches Show with head football coach
Jerry Schmitt Thursday, August 28, while Mike's Beer Bar will also serve as fan headquarters for Duquesne prior to the Dukes taking on Pitt at Acrisure Stadium Saturday, August 30, at Noon for the 2025 season opener.
Helltown Brewing has five locations, including Export, Houston, Mt. Pleasant, the Strip District and Butler, while Bluff 78 will also be available at official Duquesne partners
Giant Eagle, the
Marriott City Center,
Mike's Beer Bar and
Moonlit Burgers. Make sure to check out the
full list of suppliers to pick up Bluff 78, as proceeds of the purchases will be allocated to the Duquesne Athletics General Fund, which supports the operations of all Duquesne athletic programs.
