Duquesne, which moved to 3-1 with an 85-80 neutral-site win over Colgate in Akron, Ohio on Friday, returns home to begin a stretch of nine consecutive home games with a Monday, Nov. 21 matchup with North Florida (1-2) at 7:00 p.m. at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse (ESPN+).
The Dukes, who are averaging 81.0 points per game, are scoring at a 93.5 ppg. clip at home (91-63 over Montana & 96-71 over South Carolina State).

This is Duquesne's third and final game as part of the Tribute Classic presented by Kentucky Tourism (at Kentucky & vs. SC State were the others). North Florida is coming off a 72-66 home win over SC State, in the first of its three Classic games, on Saturday afternoon.Â
This is Duquesne's first meeting with the Ospreys who are 0-2 on the road. DU is 18-5 in non-conference home games - including wins at four different "home" venues - since 2018-19.

- This is the first of nine-straight home games for the Dukes, who won't leave UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse until their Dec. 28 Atlantic 10 opener at Dayton.
- DU will have a quick turnaround with another game Wednesday night vs. Alabama State prior to Thanksgiving.
- DU, which averaged 65.2 ppg. last season, is averaging 81.0 ppg. through four games this year. The Dukes have scored 91 & 96 points in their first two home games (91-63 over Montana and 96-71 over South Carolina State).
- Â Eight Dukes (Brewer, Clark III, Grant, Hronsky, McGriff, Reece, Rotroff & Williams) have posted double-digit scoring games on the young season.
- DU's depth is evidenced by its 133-113 advantage in bench points (Dukes are averaging 33.3 ppg. from the bench so far in 2022-23).
- DU's assists per game average is up +6.5/g. from last year (from 10.0 to 16.5).
- Tevin Brewer, who missed the opener (appendix), has handed out 12 assists in three games. He had 14 points, six assists and just one turnover in his first start as a Duke vs. Colgate.
- Guard Dae Dae Grant is shooting .526 from the field and .636 from 3-point (14-of-22) on the young season. Grant has topped the 20-point mark twice (25 vs. Montana and 24 vs. Colgate).
- Guard Jimmy Clark III, who played as a freshman and sophomore at VCU, has eclipsed his career DI scoring high twice in four games with 11 at Kentucky and 13 vs. South Carolina State. His career-high entering the season was nine.
- Austin Rotroff has come off the bench to lead the Dukes in rebounding in three of four games. The 6-10 forward had a career-high 11 boards in 12 minutes off the bench vs. SC State and scored all of his season-high 10 points in the second half vs. Colgate.
- Freshman David Dixon came off the bench to block three shots in eight minutes vs. Colgate.
NORTH FLORIDA QUICK NOTES
- Duquesne and Atlantic Sun Conference member North Florida, which is located in Jacksonville, are playing for the first time.
- The Ospreys are in their 14th season under head coach Matthew Driscoll. Driscoll, a Pittsburgh native who attended Northgate High School, graduated from Slippery Rock and also served as head coach at La Roche University from 1993-97. A three-time ASUN Coach of the Year, Driscoll is the winningest coach in UNF history.
- UNF, which finished 11-20 (7-9 in the ASUN) last season, was picked to finish fifth in the preseason poll of ASUN coaches. Forward Carter Hendricksen and guard Jose Placer, UNF's top two scorer's from a year ago, were named to the 10-man Preseason All-Conference Team.
- In all, UNF returns 81 percent of its scoring and 74 percent of minutes played from last year. The Ospreys have nine returnees and four newcomers.
- UNF has led the nation twice and the conference six times in 3-pointers made under Driscoll. The Ospreys have made a 3-pointer in 782 consecutive games.
- North Florida is a first-time opponent for DU head coach Keith Dambrot.

- Duquesne, up 77-61 with 5:15 left, held on to defeat Colgate, 85-80, in Akron, Ohio.
- The Dukes, who saw their lead cut to two with :30 left, got a pair of stops and hit 3-of-4 free throws down the stretch to seal the win.
- Dae Dae Grant (5-of-7 from 3pt) scored 17 of his game-high 24 points in the first half for DU.
- Tre Williams (15 points on 7-of-7 shooting), Tevin Brewer (14 points and six assists) and Austin Rotroff (10 points, all in the second half) also scored in double-digits for the Dukes who shot .508.
- DU went 11-of-24 from 3-point, Colgate was 10-of-25.
- The Dukes finished with 11 steals.
- Duquesne was without forward Kevin Easley (suspended for a violation of team rules), and R.J. Gunn, who was not in uniform due to injury (foot).
- Duquesne's largest lead was 16 at 77-61 with 5:15 left ... Colgate's largest lead was one, at 3-2 ... there were three ties and two lead changes before Austin Rotroff gave the Dukes the lead for good on dunk that broke a brief 55-55 tie with 11:11 left ... Colgate led for :16 ... Duquesne led for 37:44.
