Pittsburgh, Pa. – The Atlantic 10 Conference unveiled its 2027 men's basketball conference schedule Tuesday, completing the 2026-27 slate for the Duquesne University men's basketball team.

For the second consecutive year, the Dukes will open their league schedule against Davidson, this time at home. Duquesne hosts the Wildcats Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse, with the Dukes 26-24 (.520) all-time in conference openers, including a 26-23 (.531) ledger in A10 lidlifters. Last season, Duquesne outlasted Davidson in double overtime, 89-83, thanks to a 10-0 run in the second overtime at John M. Belk Arena (12/30/25).

The game against the Wildcats concludes a five-game homestand for the Dukes, as each of their final four non-conference games of the year will come at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse and also marks their second five-game homestand of the season.

Duquesne hits the road for the first time in Atlantic 10 play Saturday, Jan. 2, 2027, in Richmond, Va., against VCU in a game that can be seen live on the USA Network. The Dukes follow by returning home to face Rhode Island (Jan. 6) at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse and will also welcome Fordham (Jan. 16), Dayton (Jan. 26) and St. Bonaventure (Jan. 30) during the month of January. Other road games during the first month of the new year include trips to Loyola Chicago (Jan. 9), Richmond (Jan. 20) and Rhode Island (Jan. 23).

Three of the first four games of February for Duquesne come on the road, beginning Wednesday, Feb. 3, in the nation's capital against George Washington. The Dukes will host Loyola Chicago Saturday, Feb. 6, before consecutive road games at La Salle (Feb. 10) and Dayton (Feb. 13), with the latter also coming on USA Network. The game against the Flyers is the first of back-to-back national television appearances for Duquesne, as its tilt against George Mason Saturday, Feb. 20, can also be seen live on USA Network.

The Dukes will also host Saint Joseph's (Feb. 24) and Saint Louis (March 3) and visit St. Bonaventure (Feb. 27) and Davidson (March 6), the latter of which is the regular-season finale for Duquesne. The Atlantic 10 Championship returns to the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y., for the first time since 2024, which saw the Dukes win four games in five days and collect their first Atlantic 10 title and automatic bid to the NCAA Championship since 1977.

Led by Dru Joyce III, entering his third year as head coach of the program in 2026-27, Duquesne opens its 111th season of NCAA Division I basketball Tuesday, Nov. 3, against Purdue Fort Wayne at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse. A total of 10 home games highlight the non-conference portion of the schedule for the Dukes.
