Freshman forward
Maya Matesa and sophomore forward
Brooke Kirstein recorded the Dukes' only two shots on goal in what was a quiet afternoon for both teams.

In total, Loyola out-shot the Dukes 16-8 and had the bulk of the offensive opportunities between the two teams.
Early on, Neundorfer made a couple of big-time saves within the first 12 minutes of action, setting the tone for what would be a great performance by Duquesne's keeper. She stopped a Loyola breakaway in the 12
th-minute to keep the score even.
The Dukes' best chance came in the 74
th-minute off a Kirstein shot that nearly found the back of the net before Loyola's goalkeeper hauled it in for a save.
The Duquesne defense was tested all match as it had to defend the 14 corners throughout the 90 minutes. In the end, neither team would be able to cash in on any opportunity and the match would finish in a draw despite the best efforts from both sides.
