  • Rodrigo Albayeros made a beautiful 1v1 move along the right side of the goal line and played the ball to Maxi Hopfer who launched a hard shot from the six that was saved by Kouadio in the 21st minute.
  • Hopfer had another hard shot on net off a pass from Landry in the 32nd minute.
  • Dayton's Josh Darius ran down a long pass and put it over the DU goal in the 38th minute.
  • Dayton outshot DU 13-9 in the first half, however Duquesne led 6-5 in shots on goal and 7-5 in corners.
  • UD's Kingsford Adjei took a pass from Josh Darius and scored from the right side to tie it in the 55th minute.
  • Nate Dragisch nearly tied after a pair of fakes allowed him to get off a shot to the lower left corner from the left corner of the six in the 58th minute.
  • Dayton's Toluwalase Oladeinbo put one off the Duquesne crossbar in the 71st minute.
  • Hopfer took another hard shot on net 74th minute leading to a DU corner before Dayton went on its three-goal spree.
