Duquesne (3-4), coming off an 88-79 win over American on Sunday, opens the month of December vs. Mid-American Conference foe Bowling Green (3-4) on Wed., Dec. 1 at 7:00 p.m. at UPMC Cooper Fieldhouse (ESPN+).
The BGSU game is the nightcap of a men's/women's doubleheader preceded by the DU women vs. Canisius at 4:00 p.m.
DU shot a season-best .580 in scoring a season-high 88 points in the win over American.
Bowling Green, which is 0-2 on the road, is coming off a 75-57 home win over Chicago State on Sunday.
BGSU is a familiar foe to DU head coach
Keith Dambrot, who went 25-2 vs. the Falcons in 13 seasons at Akron. Bowling Green is the first MAC team Dambrot has faced since taking the Duquesne job prior to the 2017-18 season.
DU is 44-19 at home under Dambrot, including a 23-6 mark in non-conference games. The Dukes are 15-4 in non-conference home games - including wins at four different "home" venues since 2018-19.

- Duquesne, winner of two in a row, is coming off its two best shooting games of the season: .483 in the 78-70 win over Bradley and .580 in the 88-79 win over American. The .580 is the second-best shooting game by the Dukes in five seasons under Keith Dambrot (.585 vs. Columbia 12/9/19 the best).
- First-year Mercer transfer Leon Ayers III was named A-10 Player of the Week on Monday after averaging 23.0 ppg., 6.5 rpg. and 2.0 spg. on 56% shooting in two games last week. He tied his career high with 23 points vs. both Bradley and American.
- Freshman guard Primo Spears was named Atlantic 10 Rookie of the Week on Nov. 15 after averaging 15.5 points, 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists and 2.0 steals in DU's first two games. Spears, who leads the Dukes with 21 assists, is coming off a 21 point, six assist, six steal game vs. American. The six steals, five of which came in the second half, were one shy of the school record.
- First-year TCU transfer Kevin Easley Jr. has scored in double digits in six of DU's first seven games. Easley Jr. leads the Dukes with a 12.9 ppg. scoring average and 11 3-pointers (.458).
- Easley Jr. is one of four Dukes averaging in double figures: Primo Spears (12.7), Leon Ayers III (12.4) and Tre Williams (12.1), are the others.
- First-year Indiana State transfer Tre Williams, who led the Missouri Valley Conference in blocks last year (37), leads the Dukes with 20 rejections. The 6-7 F/C blocked seven shots vs. Colorado on Nov. 20.
- Williams, who went 3-of-10 from the 3-point arc in 55 games at ISU, is 3-of-18 from the arc through seven games at DU.
- Freshman guard Jackie Johnson III, who had six points in DU's first two games, scored 27 off the bench vs. Weber State on Nov. 15. It was the most points off the bench by a Duke since Jordan Stevens had 27 at Abilene Christian on Nov. 22, 2014. Johnson III scored 18 of DU's 27 second-half points vs. WSU. Johnson III is shooting .476 (10-21) from the 3-point arc.
- DU did not have a turnover in the second half of Sunday's win over American. The Dukes are averaging 12.7 miscues/g.
