The Dukes will follow Saturday's game with a Monday matchup with Weber State (1-0) at 7:00 p.m. (ESPN+).

DU and Hofstra have met once, with the Pride defeating the Dukes, 76-70, in the first round of the Pittsburgh Classic at the Civic Arena on Dec. 10, 1976.

This will be the first meeting between Duquesne and Big Sky Conference member Weber State.

This is the second of five consecutive season-opening road games for Hofstra, which dropped an 83-75 overtime decision at No. 15 (AP) Houston on Tuesday.

Weber State, which calls Ogden, Utah home, has been idle since its season-opening home win over Western Colorado on Nov. 9.

Hofstra is in its first season under head coach Speedy Claxton, who starred for the Pride from 1996-00. Claxton has spent the past eight seasons at Hofstra, including the last seven as an assistant coach.
