Duquesne (17-6, 7-4), which has been idle since Feb. 8, hits the road for a rematch with Fordham (7-16, 1-10) on Sunday, Feb. 16 at 2:00 p.m. (NBCSN). The Dukes, who defeated the Rams, 58-56 in overtime at PPG Paints Arena on Jan. 15, are looking for their second-consecutive series sweep against Fordham, who is 6-8 at home. Duquesne, which has won six of the past seven at Rose Hill Gym - including the last four in a row - is looking to tie the school record for Atlantic 10 road wins accomplished four times (tied last year). The Dukes and Rams, who combined for 114 points in the first meeting, rank first (Fordham at 61.8 ppg.) and fourth (Duquesne at 64.5 ppg.) in the Atlantic 10 in scoring defense.

TRENDING
  • Duquesne's 17-6 start is the school's best through 23 games since 1971-72 (19-4 on the way to 20-5).
  • This is just the fourth time in 43 Atlantic 10 seasons - and second time in the past two years - that DU has seven wins in its first 11 conference games.
  • The Dukes are holding opponents to 64.5 points per game - the lowest opponent average in 58 years.
  • The Dukes rank 6th nationally - and first in the A-10 - in blocks/g. at 5.91. DU is fifth in the nation in block percentage (16.4 according to KenPom).
  • Duquesne is 24th nationally and first in the A-10 in fewest fouls per game (15.0).
  • Junior Marcus Weathers (team-high 14.7 ppg.), whose career scoring high entering the season was 19 points, has scored 20 or more a team-high five times (three in A-10 play).
  • Sophomore Sincere Carry is DU's second-leading scorer at 11.7 ppg. DU is 13-2 when Carry, DU's assist leader at 4.87 apg., hands out five or more assists. Carry has 25 assists (four turnovers) in DU's past three g. (16 and zero in the past two).
  • Junior center Michael Hughes ranks 7th nationally in blocks per game (2.96) and 7th in block pct. (13.75 according to KenPom). DU is 8-1 (4-1 in A-10 play) when Hughes blocks four or more shots.
  • DU is 12-4 all-time (6-2 this year) when junior Tavian Dunn-Martin hits three or more 3-pointers. Dunn-Martin tied his career high with seven 'threes' vs. St. Bonaventure (7-of-15, season high-tying 25 points). He is 16-of-38 (.421) from the arc (14.5 ppg.) in his past four games.
  • Grad transfer Baylee Steele is averaging 12.5 ppg. on 11-of-16 shooting (.688) off the bench in DU's past two games.
  • Duquesne is 9-15 in road games - including 9-14 in A-10 play - under Keith Dambrot. Duquesne's four A-10 road wins last season (at Richmond, at GW, at Fordham & at George Mason) tied the program record. It was just the fourth time a Duquesne team posted four A-10 road wins. The Dukes - who were the last Division I team to play a road game - are 3-2 on the road, with all three wins coming in conference play.
  • Under Keith Dambrot, DU is: 43-3 when leading with 5:00 left ... 40-11 when scoring 70 or more points (12-1 this year) ... 35-3 when the first to 70 points in a game ... 34-7 when holding opponents under 70 (15-0 this year).

A-10 NOTABLE
  • Duquesne's 73-59 win over Saint Louis on Jan. 2 was the Dukes' sixth in a row over the Billikens in Pittsburgh. DU completed a sweep of SLU with an 82-68 win at Chaifetz Arena on Feb. 5. The 14-point margin of victory was DU's largest on the road vs. the Billikens. It was also SLU's first home loss to an unranked team this season.
  • DU's 71-64 home win over Davidson was DU's first series win, ending a streak of seven consecutive losses to the Wildcats.
  • The 78-60 (+18) margin of victory at Saint Joseph's was DU's third-largest in the series and most since a 96-70 win over the Hawks at the A-10 Championship at the Palestra on Mar. 3, 1990.
  • DU's 66-61 win at George Washington was its fifth-straight series win and program-best third consecutive win at GW.

A DU WIN WOULD ...
  • Give the Dukes their best overall record since 1971-72 (19-5 through 24 g. that year).
  • Mark the third time in 43 seasons that DU would have at least eight wins in 12 A-10 games (1981 & 2011, both 9-3, are the others).
  • Would tie the school record for A-10 road wins (4) accomplished four times (2019 last).
  • Be DU's fifth-straight win at Rose Hill Gym.
