SOMERSET, N.J. - After tallying 201 yards from scrimmage with a pair of touchdowns in Duquesne's 35-31 victory at Dayton on Saturday, running back
Mark Allen (Hyattsville, Md. / DeMatha Catholic / Penn State) garnered Northeast Conference Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors, conference officials announced on Monday.
Allen tallied a career-high 168 yards on the ground with two touchdowns, including the game-winning score on a one-yard run in the fourth quarter. The Penn State graduate transfer recorded 43 yards on the game's opening possession, setting up a touchdown pass from

Kellon Taylor to put the Dukes on the board. His first touchdown of the day gave the Dukes a 14-7 lead to cap a 65-yard drive in the first quarter.
On Duquesne's game-winning drive in the fourth quarter, he rushed seven times for 38 yards including the go-ahead one-yard rush.
His previous career high was 62 yards set while with the Nittany Lions against Kent State in 2018 and again last week at Youngstown State. Saturday's contest marked his first career game with multiple touchdowns.
Central Connecticut wide receiver Tyshaun James also collected NEC Offensive Co-Player of the Week accolades with Blue Devils linebacker Tre Jones named Defensive Player of the Week, Wagner punter Eric Silvester Special Teams Player of the Week and Sacred Heart wide receiver Tyrese Chambers Rookie of the Week.

Reid Harrison-Ducros (Colleyville, Texas / Colleyville Heritage / Boise State) was named an NEC Prime Performer after registering his first career interception in the Dukes' end zone with the Flyers driving deep in Duquesne territory in the third quarter. Harrison-Ducros added six tackles (four solo) with a tackle for loss in the win.
The Dukes close non-conference action and a three-game road swing at New Hampshire on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m.
