A total of eight members of the Duquesne bowling team were named to the Northeast Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll announced yesterday. Freshmen Jessica Cadez and Jessica Sacks, sophomores Allison Hresko and Sarah Kirkpatrick, juniors Megan Cook, Lauren Mayberry and Elizabeth Petkac and graduate student Cassidy Powers were all recognized for posting grade point averages of 3.2 or higher. In addition, Cadez, Powers and Sacks earned spots on the NEC Winter Commissioner's Honor Roll with GPA's of 3.75 or higher.

DU's eight honorees were the most of any NEC bowling program.

In all, 609 student-athletes were named to the Winter Academic Honor Roll, a 1.5 percent increase from 2017-18. There were also 202 student-athletes named to the Winter Commissioner's Honor Roll. The Commissioner's Honor Roll figure represents a 8.6 percent increase from a year ago.
